EVE Video

When you look at the trailer, or amateur video guides for EVE, and you want to write something of such things too. And then of course thousands of views on YouTube and universal respect. Joke.

Then you suddenly find that the usual software for recording screencasts is not very suitable for writing games. Quality is terrible.

To record a video of the games (not only from EVE), there are special programs that are able to work with high-quality graphics, which is drawn using DirectX and OpenGL. I do not know how they do it, but the result is much better.

But these programs are difficult to develop and few people giving them away for free. Nevertheless, there are:

MSI Afterburner

This program is produced by the manufacturer of video cards and its main purpose - to tighten up the graphics performance. But until the pile there and stuck a couple of useful utilities for simple gamers. There are capture of images and video capture.

Run, customize keyboard shortcuts, and voila. The only negative of program - it hasn't good video compression. Another feature that I find it difficult to say is it plus or minus - it writes all the windows in which there is a graphics output via DX / OpenGL. That is, if you play with three windows, you get three times more data on a disc.

BandiCam

This program is shareware. In the free version video length is limited to 10 minutes and add the name of their website at the top. However, this is not a serious obstacle, and 10 minutes in many cases is enough. Bold plus - good compression. Of the minuses, except those already listed - some unnatural color pictures.

Now I have to find and learn a little bit simple video editor.
